As a teacher, Jackie has worked with children of all ages in schools and museums. She has won awards for short fiction, documentary and interactive web design. Her love of the written word and the way it complements visual design is the basis of her storytelling. Before teaching, Jackie worked in advertising and television production.

Illustrator - Ian Versace
Illustrating children’s books is a joining of two of Ian’s great loves. As a Primary School teacher his favourite part of the day was reading and exploring picture books with the students. The illustrators he admired most invariably used watercolours and coloured pencils, which heavily influenced his love of the watercolour medium.
He has since left the teaching world to be a primary carer for his three children and now paints both inside and out every chance he gets. His work can be seen on Instagram @ian_versace_artist and in various galleries in the gorgeous Clarence Valley, in New South Wales, Australia.
